Nancy Workshops delivered by Sarah Lark (understudy to Jodie Prenger)

We are very excited to announce that we will be having specialist “Oliver!” workshops delivered by Sarah Lark.

Sarah Lark appeared in the Andrew Lloyd Webber programme “I’d Do Anything” competing for the part of Nancy in the new West-End production of “Oliver!”. Sarah is currently the understudy to Jodie Prenger in the London production, and regularly plays the part of Nancy each week.

Sarah is coming to deliver specialist “Oliver!” workshops on Sunday 24th Jan at the Memorial Hall.

11.30-12pm – One-to one workshop with Nancy

12-1pm – Workshop with Ompapa Girls

1.00-2.30pm – ALL pupil workshop

I ask that all pupils come to the workshops, this is a wonderful opportunity and the school is privileged to have such a wonderful performer and celebrity to come and work with us.

We are also hoping to have some media coverage to this event.

Sarah will be starting the workshops promptly at the time given, please be punctual, and wear the school uniform.

WELL DONE TO ALL FOR PASSING THEIR 2008 EXAMS  WITH FLYING COLOURS! - Suzanne

The “Suzanne Scale Performing Arts School” has now officially become a exam centre for Guildhall/Trinity Exam Board, London.
During the summer term, we will be working towards exam grades in Performance Arts, there are grades and certificates available to all ages.
Suzanne Scale has become a registered member of the exam board, and can therefore hold exams within the school, and assess the grade levels of the pupils. This makes the exam process a lot easier.
Therefore, when we have our exams in the summer term (April-July), the exams will take place at the school, which is great news for teachers, pupils and parents. The pupils will be able to take their exams comfortably within the school environment.

There will be an Early Performers Certificate available for the younger pupils and Grades 1-8 for the older pupils.

"Applause"

In March 2007, the school performed the full musical production of “Applause”.  It was very successful and enjoyable for all involved.
