Director/Dance/Drama/Singing:
Suzanne Scale BA Hons ED QTS- 1st class honours

Suzanne is a qualified teacher in Drama and the Performing Arts.

Suzanne has danced since the age of 6 and has had Training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, HipHop/Street. Suzanne is a classically trained Mezzo-Soprano and an accomplished performer.

Suzanne has been teaching for over 10 years including her experiences at mainstream schools and private performing arts schools and academies.

Suzanne is an experienced dancer and choreographer having created and performed in many stage productions. Suzanne is an experienced Director and Producer, having directed numerous school performances and is a regular director for Dramatic Societies in Cardiff.

Drama/Dance: Amy Brooks BA Hons QTS

Amy is a qualified Drama and English Teacher having graduated from Cardiff University then UWIC for her teacher training. Her details are as follows:

BA Hons English Literature and Theatre Studies
PGCE Drama and English
Qualified Teacher Status

Amy has 6 years Drama and English teaching experience - teaching up to A-Level standard.
Amy has over 20 years experience as a performer including appearances at The New Theatre and St Davids Hall.

Amy has an active managerial role within many drama societies.
Amy is a member of the Welsh Playwright Scheme (encouraging 11-16 year olds to develop their own work through improvisational techniques.
Amy has experience with The National Orchestra of Wales, accompanying the orchestra on the Welsh and European tour.

Amy met Suzanne over 15 years ago when they were teenagers at the Theatre/Stage School they attended every Saturday, and have performed together and been friendly ever since.

Amy has joined the school as a permanent teacher as of November 2008, and will be teaching Drama and Dance to the Main School. She will be Directing "Oliver" alongside Suzanne and Bethan.

Drama: Bethan Ford BA Hons ED Drama QTS

Bethan Ford is a qualified Drama Teacher and currently teaches in a High School as a Drama and English teacher. Her details are as follows:
BA Hons Education: Drama
Qualified Teacher Status
Drama Teacher - Brynmawr High School.
Drama and English Teacher - Hartridge High School.

Bethan teaches the Early Performer's classes and Drama to the Main School, and has been with the school since April 2005.

Singing: Max Davies

We are pleased to introduce Max Davies to the school who will be taking up a permanent position with us as of September 2009.

Administration: Barbara Scale

Barbara helped set up the school and now takes a lead role in the administration of the school with 25 years experience in administration jobs.

Barbara will be covering Gemma's maternity, co-ordinating membership and administration.

Gemma is off on Maternity and we are pleased to announce she had a healthy little boy on August 1st named Iestyn.
